On September 20-22, experts from the Ukrainian Marketing Association (UMA), representatives of the advertising and food industries, and the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) reviewed the achievements of their joint project, discussed challenges, and developed a roadmap for implementing best European practices in protecting the rights of children and adolescents from unhealthy food advertising.
The event was held within the framework of the project “Harmonization of Ukrainian Policy on Regulating Food Marketing with European Practices of Protecting the Rights of Children and Adolescents from the Influence of Unhealthy Food Advertising”, implemented by the NGO «Ukrainian Marketing Association» in partnership with EASA, the NGO «Nutrition and Quality of Life», and the SSUFSCP of Ukraine. The project is supported by the European Union and the International Renaissance Foundation as part of the joint initiative “European Renaissance of Ukraine.”
