Unbelievable pain and longing overwhelm the entire marketing community of Ukraine!
On March 4, at the age of 75, Yevhen Vasylyovych Krykavskyi, doctor of economic sciences, professor, honored worker of education of Ukraine, head of the department of marketing and logistics of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”
Yevhen Vasylyovych was born on September 12, 1949 in the village of Styrkivtsi, Radekhiv district, Lviv region.
In 1966, he graduated from the district high school, in 1968-1970 he served in the army, where he acquired his first skills in logistics.
Professor E. V. Krykavskyi devoted 54 years of his life to the Lviv Polytechnic. After completing his service in the army, he entered the engineering and economic faculty of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute (LPI, and today Lviv Polytechnic University), where he received a named (Lenin) scholarship.
In 1975, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Engineering and Economics of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute, majoring in “Economics and Energy Organization”.
From 1975 to 1976, Yevhen Krykavskyi worked as an engineer of the People’s Democratic Party of LPU.
From 1976 to 1979, he studied at the graduate school of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute. He advanced his qualifications at universities and enterprises in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Poland, and the SR.
Since 1979, Yevhen Vasyliovych has been working as a teacher at the Department of Economics and Organization of the Chemical Industry and Energy at LPU (assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor).
In 1983, Evgeny Vasylovich Krykavskyi defended his candidate’s thesis on the topic: “Economic issues of improving the management of the repair service system.”
In 1990, Yevhen Vasyliovych was awarded the title of associate professor of the Department of Economics and Organization of the Chemical Industry and Energy.
Since 1992, Evgeny Vasylovich Krykavskyi headed the Department of Economics and Organization of Energy (later the Department of Economics and Organization of the Chemical Industry and Marketing, which was renamed the Department of Marketing and Logistics of the Lviv Polytechnic National University).
In 1997, Yevhen Vasyliovych defended his doctoral thesis on the topic: “Formation of the economic potential of the enterprise on the basis of logistics concepts”, essentially starting his own scientific school of marketing and logistics support within the walls of his native ZVO.
According to the decision of the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine in 2000, Yevhen Vasyliovych received the title of professor of the Department of Economics of Energy and Chemical Enterprises and Marketing.
The most important scientific achievements of Yevgeny Vasyliovych Krykavskyi are as follows:
– in 2006, he was awarded the “excellent education of Ukraine” sign;
– in 2007, the title of “Honored Education Worker of Ukraine” was awarded by Presidential Decree;
– in 2006, an article about Krykavsky E.V. about the outstanding scientist and economist was published in the anthology “Economists of Ukraine. Leaders of the domestic economy: outstanding personalities, leading specialists, public figures”;
– in 2012, E.V. Krykavskyi included in the II-th volume of the large-scale Ukrainian publication “Scientists of Ukraine. The elite of the state”. Krykavsky Yevhen Vasyliovych is an academician of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine. In addition, he is the president of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Ukrainian Logistics Association”.
From 1998 to 2002, Yevhen Krykavskyi was a deputy of the Lviv City Council.
Yevhen Vasyliovych was a member of the editorial boards of the journals of the Higher Education Institutions of Poland (Maria Curie Skladovska University in Lublin, Poznań Polytechnic), a member of the editorial board of journals and a member of the program committee of the board of leading regular conferences in Ukraine and abroad; an expert in the direction of “Transport and Logistics” in the Quality Rating of Corporate Reputation Management “Reputation ACTIVISTS”: http://repactiv.com.ua/ru/experts/cat/10
However, the most important achievement of Krykavsky Yevhen Vasyliovych was his scientific school, which was formed 13 doctors and more than 20 candidates of sciences.
Under the scientific advice of Yevgeny Vasylyovych Krykavskyi, well-known Ukrainian and foreign scientists such as: Roman Patora (Poland); Natalia Chukhrai; Olga Mnykh; Myroslav Vasylevskyi (Poland); Oleg Kary; Svitlana Kovalchuk; Natalia Savina; Liliya Yakymyshyn; Volodymyr Falovych; Oleksandr Deinega; Ilona Petryk; Inna Deinega; Andriy Zaverbnyi.
