The project “Strategy for the transition and integration of Ukrainian veterans into education and the workforce”

Ukraine needs the participation of all able-bodied groups for its reconstruction, and many people need special support. The project “Strategy for the transition and integration of Ukrainian veterans into education and the workforce” is being implemented from March 2024 by the NGO “UAM” as part of the “Vocational Education in Ukraine / Skills4Recovery” program, which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, acting on behalf of Government of Germany. The goal of the project is to develop a Ukrainian strategy for the transition and integration of veterans into education and the workforce, aimed at comprehensive support of veterans (former combatants) in their successful reintegration into civilian life through a structured system of education, vocational training and psychosocial support.
